Language acquisition and usage is reinforced in an environment where children are able to speak to their peers in the immersion language. NYC’s first German Immersion PreSchool & Pre-K, based in Park Slope, Brooklyn, KinderHaus serves the local and international community of New York City with a private DaySchool and AfterSchool program serving 200 children for PreSchool, Pre-K and Kindergarten programs. We are proud of the high quality of our teaching staff, all of whom are either qualified elementary school teachers with Masters degrees or Kindergarten teaching degrees, and a proven and validated curriculum. We are located in specifically constructed, light filled spaces with full backyards, decks and planting gardens.
We are in cooperation with the German government organization Zentralstelle fuer das Auslandsschulwesen – Central Agency for schools abroad, the Goethe-Institut New York and affiliated with the National Association of Independent Schools.
