KinderHaus Summer Camp 2025 runs from
Dates: June 30 through August 22
with care from 8:30 AM–6 PM
and two joyful, language-rich programs: WaldKinder (ages 3–8, potty trained) and SommerKinder (ages 1+).
WaldKinder campers spend their mornings fully outdoors—trekking forest paths, tracking animals, climbing tree limbs, building nature forts, and sculpting nature mandalas from twigs, leaves, and stones in Prospect Park’s wild corners. They spot turtles sunning on rocks, listen for birdsong, and play energetic games in open meadows. Later in the summer, they head to Coney Island, transforming into Beach Campers who dig for treasure, collect shimmering shells, chase waves, and follow a mystery message in a bottle across the sand.
SommerKinder campers, dive into hands-on activities like planting herbs and veggies in our garden, stretching into yoga poses beneath shady trees, baking fresh bread, splashing in water tables, painting murals, and crafting colorful creations with natural materials.
Both groups take part in weekly field trips to splash parks, botanical gardens, indoor playgrounds, neighborhood bakeries, and bustling farmer’s markets. Camp-wide traditions bring everyone together for obstacle courses, talent shows, Olympic-style games, and the joy of a weekly ice cream truck visit.
